Hey guys I do not get on the forums that much these days and recently have got the hankering to play with some new hardware but don't really wanna spend any additional cash if I can avoid

Below is my current system, I can sell it all or keep 4GB of the 8 and keep the GTX. I have interested buyers ready to shell out the coin. After some quick reading I am guessing performance will be close in certain apps but faster in video/encoding on the quad still. I figure the X3 720 should be able to reach 3.2-3.5

dfi p35 t2rs
xeon 3220 @ 3.2
8gb gskill 6400
bfg gtx 260 core 192

considering playing with the combinations below, option 2 gets me into DDR3 but a 9800gtx+ and option 1 gives me a core 216 over my 192 GTX 260,

MSI DKA790GX ATX AM2+ 790GX DDR2
BE X3 720
4GB Gskill PC8000
GTX 260 core 216

little bit o cash outa pocket,

Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P AMD790X ATX AM3
BE X3 720
4gb Corsair XMS3 1333 C9 DDR3
EVGA 9800+ GTX

Comments/Thoughts or leave well enough alone?

id stick with what you have tbh. your rig is pretty well balanced as is. option one looks like a wash and option 2 looks like a small step in the wrong direction(gpu wise). i would say upgrade the heatsink or hsfan and crank that 3220 a little more if possible.
