So according the Matrix Raid console one of my drives are failing.

For one, backup anything important immediately.

one of the reasons I gave up on intel matrix raid, sooner or later it would always say a drive was failing or some BS, I would test them and eevryone checked out. Try a diff mobo and same ****.

You dont need raid on a desktop anwyay... I game on a WD black and shrug if I am missing anything.

I had something similar once, had pc problem and had to do a few hard reset. Nothing caught my attention after turning raid off and checking the SMART data and checking for bad sector.

So i unplugged my one drive and moved it to another port and rebuilt it. There has been no problem since then.

But always backup important stuff :D

Not too worried about backing anything up, its just windows 7. I'll have to check it out more once I get off work.

Oh well, I need a Vista setup anyway. I can set up 2 drives for raid then the other 2 for raid right??
