IP35 Pro cpu fan too loud

I'm using the latest bios, m629b17, even tried m629b18 I found somewhere and I set my cpu fan to a quiet speed when idling but it seems to just work only sometimes. Anyone else have this problem?

i never used it on my board, using a fan controller. i like making sure it works, but i did try controlling a case fan once. notice i said once, cause like you it worked some times or wouldnt...

I got it to work. I fiddled with the fan connector so I suppose it may have been a loose wire.

Yeah, seems odd to me and unlikely. Occasionally my cpu fan would not quiet down when rebooting. I'd guess probably a bug. But when it works, it works well and only gets loud when I game so I'd rather use it instead of the manual controller I have.
