Intel Questions

Uh hello, my dad just bought an Intel P4 1.7 ghz computer, with a MSI 845 Ultra-ARU Motherboard, 256mb cas 2.5 pc2100 crucial DDR memory (2x128), 300watt PSU, MSI Geforce 2 MX 64mb Video Card, Maxtor 40gig 7200rpm ATA100 and 20gig 7200rpm ATA133. And some other stuff. OK so i know i need to get the detinators for the graphics card, but do i need anything for this intel ish? I dont know because I am AMD all the way.

This should go in the Intel section. And no, I do not believe you need anything special pertaining to the mobo.

Nope, nVidia drivers would be @ http://www.nvidia.com unless you shoudl flash to teh lastest bios, if you go to the motherboard manufacture site and then go to your product and there is huge fixes than get it other than there is nothing needed to know except the multipliers are locked if you plan to overclock it and they aren't unlockable.

you might need to get the via 4-in-1 drivers, but i have no idea if that is just for amd mobos or not, check out the msi site for all the recent downloads
