Hello
I've just finished with overclocking my CPU and was wondering just for the sake of it, how high can I push my RAM? It's PC- 6400 RAM (Defult 800mhz you know the drill :) ) and it's running at 850 mhz now. I game a fair amount so any advice on speeding up the performance is welcome. (even if minimal effect)

My current Settings are:

FSB: 425Mhz
DDR Speed : 850Mhz
Timings: 5, 5, 5, 15
V Dimm. 2.0 (defult 1.9)

Fire Away

OCing the RAM will give you negligible speedup (1-2fps AT MOST). You'll get much more by overclocking the video card, since your CPU won't be limiting your gaming performance anytime soon.

If you really want to OC the RAM, though... Every stick has different headrooms. Some 800mhz sticks won't do 810, and some will do 1200. Just try it out and see (maybe lower the CPU multiplier while doing that, to make sure the CPU doesn't get in the way).
