What is the fastest chip I can use with a Pentium pro 200 comp without ugrading the mobo? I know two people with these things and I want to know if I can atleast upgrade the their cpu's since their not interested in any real upgrading.

Pentium Pros are socket 8 so you're stuck w/ the Pro processor.

Depending on the mobo, you may be able to overclock some. Check out http://www.hwupgrade.com/overclock/cpu/ for info on OCing older pentiums.

Whats the highest clock speed for a socket 8 cpu not an overclocked speed of course? Will the Pros w/ more onboard L2 cache be faster or just better at multitasking? I think both of these have the lowest amount of L2 cache 256 bytes.

200 is the highest Pro, IIRC. I doubt you would notice a difference w/ the 512K model.

I've read before on powerleap's site that they have a socket 8 to 370 converter and you can run any 66 fsb Celeron in it, but I'm not sure how they perform.
