Well, I got all the parts for me new rig today. Put it together and to my surprise my memory isn't running correctly. I've ddr2 800 ram. In the bios I have it set to 800mhz. I'm running dual channel. But when I boot up into windows cpuz shows my ram at 400 with a 1:2 ratio. I know that is correct as my load times for any game are very slow. I manual set all my ram timings aswell (they reported correctly but I like to have control over it).

Here is my setup:
ASUS M4A78-E (790gx 750sb)
AMD x3 720BE
2x1gb ddr2 800 g.skill ram (rated at 5-5-5-15)

Any ideas on what is going on? If you need any more info let me know and I'll get it up here in asap.

its running at the right speed. cpu-z reports the speed at its actual, rather than double data rate(DDR). i would try different dividers and test with everest to see which works best for your rig.
