guys i have to 120mm fans hooked up together running on one 3 pin slot, will that decrease the rpm's of the fan??

nope... voltage can be split many times.. they wont decrease in rpm unless you have high power drain from your psu... 300w or more will do you fine

Assuming you mean you have both of them coming off of a single fan header on your motherboard, that is "bad medicine". Either split them up to two different headers, or put them on an unused 4-pin Molex cable from the PSU. You run the risk of not only having them slow down, but of greater concern is frying the circuit trace and possibly the pin soldering at the header. Now, if that happens, you wont incinerate your motherboard or anything, but in all likelihood, you'll lose the use of that header.

damn now im scared, where can i get a converter that converts 3 pin into 4 pin??

You can get them at www.sidewindercomputers.com They range from $2 - $7 and while your there take a look at the fans and stuff.

Just get the 4pin connecter, no overclocker IMHO should be using the headers as their HSF are usually equipped with Deltas that use alot of amp.

And the case fans now are acting like Delta's..
