So went to install my new Power color 3850 AGP card on my system and when I do I get a message usb voltage overload shut down in 15 seconds.
With my old card back in the system no problems at all. Im using a X1950 PRO agp made by sapphire and I have no problems with this card in my system, I have tried another power supply still the same message.
The 1950 pro uses more juice then the 3850 so why am I getting this error?
Im using an A8v Delux mainboard with a opteron 180 and a 750 watt power supply rated to give 680watts.
Any ideas. I have also changed all the usb jumper settings to +5VSB still i get the same issue
So if anyone has any ideas how to get around this would really be helpful thanks.
I am on the latest bios also.
