I'm sure he was just joking - there's no need to get your underwear in a twist. Statements like "If you continue to be a pain, action will be taken" are completely unneeded.

MaxPC and OC have always had a good friendly relationship (with the appropriate level of smack talk) and I'd really rather that didn't change :)

I feel the same way you do. I suppose that was a little rough, sorry about that. I suppose a better reply of It's just a joke from bone would have been a bit better. Instead of being a smartass. We've had a rather large run of trouble makers on the forums lately, so we're all a bit on edge. Sorry if I offended anyone here. I didn't mean to.

Anyways, It's all over now. I think I had too much coffee this morning. You guys up for the Chimp Challenge again in May? Can you hold us off until then? We needs some competition!

If the teams were to get in a fistfight for every 6 of them there would be only 4 of us, which seems a bit unfair.

But, those same 6 people from MPC only account for a total of 19,234.2 PPD, but 4 of us account for 18825.20 PPD, so it's almost even!

I might be mistaken, but I thought our contests were open to anyone, as long as they folded at least 1 WU for T32 durring the contest, and registered in the signup thread. Of course that is only for the drawing contests.

But yeah, we should definately respect their rules. After all, we ARE better than them... :beer:

Man I've never been to the MPC forums, but over here we are still drinking from landsharks supply. It's all fun and games. I don't think much of any of our smack talk can be taken seriously. Man I remember when WarriorII and I would go at it. it was all good fun, no one really meant anything.

That's what I've been thinking. I don't really like all the smack talk. If they increase their PPD so they can pass us, then I'm glad that we encouraged them to do so. If they pass us, they'll be encouraging us to increase PPD. It's win-win for the cause. I think the competition of just having scores in the first place is enough to keep people wanting to increase their numbers.

No, you are correct d... anyone can enter as long as they're Folding for Team 32. I filter the stats records based on such. ;)

There's no trouble with trolls and/or troublemakers on MPC's forums. The smack talk is good to a certain extent and the competition is great for both our teams and Stanford. I'm glad I don't have to pay for electricity! I probably wouldn't have as many machines folding.
