Sorry, didn't look like the case forum is active...

I'm looking for a power supply that would be good for this setup...

Koolance PC2-C (water cooled case)

Tiger MPX mobo

Dual AMD mp 1800s

ATI Radeon 8500

1 stick 512 ddr

1 DVD

1 CDR

2 HDDs (maybe cheetah 15500s or just some big 120 gb 7200s...)

floppy

2 ethernet cards (one usually)

1 sound card

I was thinking a 430 wat enermax... Recommended by the Koolance company, but I may need a special supply for the Dualies...

Suggestions?

nope
you only need a special one for the higher end dualies

but next time post there anyway, cause now a mod is gonna have to move it.

Get one with a high wattage rating (350+) from one of the big name brands. They tend to be more reliable.

What do you mean by "special" power supply for duallies? Does that mean your mobo has two slots for plugs? A different slot altogether?

Because if they're the same you could just get a higher powered PSU and make your own cable in parallel. Even with a specialized plug, if you got the specs you could most likely make your own unless the voltages were irregular. Even then...

Ok, I've stumbled upon something... Just to be sure, the 12v is a 20 pin right?

And can someone assure me that my enermax will have greater than 3.3V and 5.V rails? and even greater than 12v rail? I would be greatfull :-)

it shouldnt have any higher than 12v there is no reason for it.
