Vantec 6035D - Fan blowing on or away?

I have a Vantec 6035D on an Athlon 1700XP. Should I have the fan blowing onto the heatsink or away from the heatsink? Does it make a difference?

generally with copper HSs is better if the fan blow onto the HS, and a good Case airflow help, especially a blowhole on it ;) coz the copper assure a better thermal conduction than alluminium, but greatly hold back the heat, so want a bigger airflow.
