View Full Version : What video card should I get in the upcoming months?

So my specs are in my sig. I've been holding off on buying something new in hopes of better things coming out. What would be the best card to buy now, and in the next few months? Because if I can wait, then I will. Im not really in a rush. I havent been keeping up with the GPUs lately.

I cant wait till then so I can get a 1g 4870 and go tri-fire when the prices drop once the new line is released.

just a question though...Why upgrade your gx2. Im pretty sure that even now it holds its own in all games

In your case, 4890 or GTX 295. At that resolution you will need some serious horse power.

I'd have to second that.

On that note, I'd recommend a 295 for that resolution. When something bigger and better comes out, sell the 295 and get the new card if the 295 doesn't hold up when the next gen comes out.
