I came upon a free 9800Pro 256mb videocard that's in great shape but it needs a new fan. Any suggestions? Cheaper the better but if you have a ghetto way to keep it cool I'd be interested to hear it. This is for a friend who plays WoW now and then.

had this old Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer Rev. 3 on my old 9800 Pro, original HSF was causing the card to cut off due to heat, threw this on there ... got me another 2 years before it finally died on me. LOVED that card and cooler... worked great and even on high was pretty quiet and REALLY moved some ait and cut the temp down like 80%.

+1 for Arctic Cooling Silencer. It allowed me to flash my g360 core 9800pro to 9800xt with no probs. Might be tough to find one these days though. A Zalman VF700 (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118117) would work just as well, IMO. Or, you could try strapping a case fan to the card on top of the stock cooler for a little more ghetto solution.

Yeah I've owned one of those Zalman coolers before I might just track another one down.
