I bought a 75 gig ibm desk-star hard drive, I GOT A "BAD" Sector on it the other day i ran a full scan-disk and it fixed it.. My question is once you get a bad sector on your hard-drive is the hard-drive any good. Thx for help

A couple of my hard drives have bad sectors, i'm still using them with no problems.

Keep an eye it though, run a scandisk every couple of weeks to check that more are not appearing.

well you have the 75gxp model right?
those have a High % dieing rate, so you could most likely get the drive replced if it gets any worse, and i would try and get it replaces asap to save you trouble down the line..
good luck :)
