I made a complete PC restore on my Raid 1 system in vista, and I should have been able to back up my computer, but I havent been.
Here's what happened: I was updating my bios and the defaults were set. When I restarted I forgot to turn on my onboard raid and it kicked my system out of its raid, and then I was unable to re-build the volume. I figured that deleting and then rebuilding my raid array and restoring everything from the backup would be an easy solution. However after rebuilding the array and re-installed vista, when I tried to restore the computer from the backup that I had made it told me that my drive was too small to restore to the image backup.
So now I am re-installing all the drivers and software that I had sort of backed up on my NAS, but I have a lot of unique files in that image backup, is there any way to pull them out?
