uxtheme hack on xp pro 64

Has anyone done the uxtheme.dll hack successfully on 64-bit and if so, how. I see conflicting reports on the method from a Google search, so lets hear it from the experts...

I've done it, just did a manual replacement of the DLL file. Actually, IIRC I had to replace two files, one in the system32 directory and one in SysWOW64. That was with SFC disabled though, I don't know how smoothly it works with the file protection enabled.

Your better bet might be a newer version of the UXTheme MultiPatcher (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/UXTheme-MultiPatcher.shtml). That didn't support x64 at the time I did the patch, but it supposedly works fine now.

Have done it before, but its been a while. Couldn't tell ya now what exactly I did. But it can be done.
