I have had until now this problem twice:
Everytime I start SETIDriver, the clc executable file dissapears!!!!!
No it' not moved, it just disappear.....it's not moved to the recyle bin, just plainly deleted.
I made a test this morning, I have the windows explorer open in a window with the folder were the clc shown, and I started SETIDriver and when the windows was refreshed I saw the clc dissapear right in front my eyes!!!!!
Anyone seeing this problem?
That is strange. I ran Seti driver under XP beta 1 and 2 for several months and didn't have a problem. Have you tried to run seti without seti driver?

Are you using seti spy aswell, I found that it did that aswell.
I can send you my seti dir if you want, and see if that helps.
btw Just added a Second crucher. :)
I'm using XP Professional and I cant set SETISpy to autostart, I have to start it manually after Mcafee Virusscan opens or else I get an error
SetiSpy works fine on my desktop machine (xp pro) but not on xp home edition...
Works fine.
I tried starting SetiSpy at the startup won't work either way but running from the dir will.
Try redownloading the things maybe.

i've been using SETI CLC/Driver/Spy in both XP Pro & Home edition for couple of months already. and both r setup so it will auto start when the machines boot up (in StartUp folder). no problem at all.....

When starting SETISpy it sometimes crashes.....but SETIDriver always start. I have put an icon in the start folder and so far it always comes online everytime I restart the machine.
I have seen the following also. When I open each of the cached WU folders (the ones that have a number in them, created by SETIDriver) I see an odd exe file, called oldseticlc or something like that. When I run that program, a window just like the normal clc is open.....anyone have seen that one?
I have check it at my work PC (running Windows 98 SE) and that file is not present.

i experienced that problem installing setidriver when i tried XP
it deleted the CLC from the directory completely
or it renamed it to "oldseticlient"
was very strange
back to win2k now and no probs

i DO; however, have SETISpy crash on me once awhile in both XP Pro and Home system. just quit and restart Spy, and it usually runs fine.
edit: well, just check on my XP Pro machine. inside my SETI@Home folder. each cached WU. i didn't see any "oldclient" or "exe" file at all.
hmm....u 'might' try to reinstall it again?
