okay, dumb question of the day: how do i find fps in quake 3? thanks

To have the fps on the screen you need to edit the line

seta cg_drawFPS "0"

to

seta cg_drawFPS "1"

in \Quake III Arena\baseq3\q3config.cfg

Or drop the console and type

/cg_drawfps 1
