i am running windows2000 and cant get this card to work. the first pci slot i put it in w2k wouldnt even recongnize it. i tryed a manual install but that didnt work. so i moved it to another pci slot. w2k recognized it then but during driver install it gave me a ACPI error. said i need to update or remove it. i checked in the bios and there are 2 options under ACPI, (POS) and (std). i changed it to std as i though this ment standard. back in windows no sound so check device manager. the card was there with an x next to it so i removed it and was going to reinstall. now windows doesnt recognize it. i have tried installing the drivers from the CD but that doest do anything. i also tried the new beta drivers and that didnt work either. what should i do now? does anyone have any suggestion how i can get this thing working or whats wrong?
