BIOS Template - Gigabyte GA-EX58 - UD5 MB Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T.)

INTEL CORE I7 920
(THIS WILL GIVE YOU A 3.6 OVERCLOCK)

I TESTED THIS IN PRIME95 FOR 8 HOURS AT 100% LOAD
**TEMPS WHERE BETWEEN 59C-67C FOR ENTIRE TEST

***FIRST THING I DID IN BIOS WAS TURN ON XMP,IT SET MOST OF
THESE SETTINGS AUTOMATICALLY.IT SET MY MEMORY AFTER TURNING
XMP ON.

***HAD TO GO BACK AND CHANGE VCORE TO 1.25, XMP SETS THIS HIGHER
THAN IT NEEDS TO BE

***I AM RUNNING A COOLER MASTER V10 CPU COOLER
(STOCK COOLER WITH THIS CHIP WILL NOT WORK FOR 3.6 OC)

***HERE IS MY BUILD LIST
INTEL CORE I7 920
GIGABYTE EX58 UD5
G-SKILL 6GB 1600
COOLER MASTER V10
WD 1T HARD DRIVE
SAPPHIRE 4870
SOUND BLASTER
ANTEC !@)) CASE 7 FANS
WINDOWS VISTA 64-BIT
PSU 1200W (PLAN ON UPGRADING A LOT WITH THIS UNIT)

***IM POSTING THIS BECAUSE I WAS UNFAMILURE WITH THE I7s
I THOUGHT THIS MIGHT HELP SOME PEOPLE GETTING STARTED
AFTER ME ,WITH THIS BOARD.

***IF ANYONE CAN SEE SOMTHING I SHOULD CHANGE PLEASE TELL ME FOR SURE.

thanks for the post..:) if i lower the BCLK Frequency.. bring the clock down to about 3.4ghz would it be stable for longer.. just because i am running 3d studio max and needs to be stable for much longer.. and advise would be much appreciated
