i have an ATI X300 i want to install it beside my INTEL build in card can i do that ? wont there be any conflicts ?

There is no problem in having more than 1 graphic cards istalled as long as you have slots for them :)

I think he is asking if he can install a discrete GPU in a system with integrated Intel graphics. The answer is probably yes, usually if you disable onboard graphics in the system BIOS.

Yes, he can.
All he needs to do is to disable the integrated GPU on BIOS, like you said :)

To run onboard grpahics with a discrete card (and retain usability of both) you would need to run an all ATI system.

It is called Surroundview
