I have been running WInXP fine since install. BUt as soon as i OC my FSB I start getting errors and random reboots. WHat is hte problem. Is WInXP just Not OC Friendly? I know the system is stable cause I can run Prime95 with out a problem. What gives. WHat do I need to do. Someone give me some advice. I see all these sigs with 150+FSB and running Windows. WHat is wrong with mine?

actually winXP as an option to automatically restart whenever it encountered some error like the BSOD... in system properties under the advanced tab theres a section "startup and recovery" under settings a check for auto restart when system failure occurs..
You have a twin with the same problem.
Read thru this thread.

Prime 95 is not the ends all test.
I recently was trying to break the 180fsb mark and could run prime 95 fine but would always get a lockup (bsod) in 3d mark 2000.
I put in a different memory stick and without any other changes was able to run to 195fsb.

Its the same we are the same. That is the name I use when I am at work.
Anyway. I ran the program and it passed everytest without a problem. I Still kinda think it is the ram though. I email the supplier and asked for an exchange cause they sent me the -07a ram instead of the -05a which is what I wanted anyway. SO may be they will let me swap and it will fix all my problems.
I couldn't be happier with WinXP Pro running on my sig system (*keeping fingers crossed...knock on wood*)

Yeah Mine runs fine as long as I stay under 150 fsb. Maybe its just my HD throwing up or something. I am running Raid so it may just not like it. Oh well I will play with it( not what you are thinking) and find my happy medium. I would like to get a higher FSB but if I can't its all good.
