Hey all, I just popped in my second 4870 1GB :D

I installed cat 9.3 and ran a quick 3d mark 06 to see what i'm looking at. I was hoping to break 20k and I got 19,949.

Is this score pretty good for rig in sig? I want to tweak some more, maybe get a little bit more out of my oc and see if i can break 20k.

Verify your score off the ORB. Push that Q9450 to 3.8Ghz+ and your score will jump considerably, maybe 21k. And of course, o/c the cards. At max you should be in teh 22k range or so.

Ok thanks caligula. I'll def try to up my cpu some more to squeeze some more points out of it. I see in your sig you have your 9450 @ 1.33v on water. I'm gonna attempt it on air bc i'm running 3.4Ghz at 37c idle and 50c full load.

I know you are running a different chipset than I am, but just out of curiosity what are your NBv and VTT?

These chips dont need much CPU volts. 1.33 on air is NOTHING. Dont hesitate to go 1.4v for benching (though I would do that 24/7 :)).

NB is at 1.3 and VTT I will have to post back on that.
