ethernet card problem

When i boot up Windows2k my ethernet card doesn't work at all, i need to goto device manager and disable then enable it work make the card work right, does anyone know how to fix it so it works when i just boot up?

what kind of card? have you tried to manually install the drivers?

Sounds like the card is either dead, or has bad drivers. Try updating the drivers. If the problem happened since then, try going back to an older driver version.
