AGP fast write probs

well for for a while ive known i wasnt getting fast writes enabled.
its enabled in my mb bios.
even in nmmax or in powerstrip i cant get sandra to show it enabled.
most my info is in my sig
im using f8 bios for mboard and new 23.12 for gf3
im considering clearing my cmos and trying that. but id like opionios first.
and btw just how much can this improve my performance once i get it working correctly?
while doing this i found my sideband addressing wasnt abled either. setting was in my mboard bios. now fixed
my last 3dmark at default was 7542 or real close to that number.its low for my system i know!
BUT I DONT WANNA RUN 3DMARK UNTILL I GET FAST WRITES ENABLED!

i have no experience with fastwrites and sideband addressing but everytime i saw them working was like almost no performance difference and too much system instability.
r u sure the vid card supports sideband add? i think it not even support sideband add anymore.

I was able to get FastWrites enabled using Rivatuner, but there was no change in performance or scores at all.

Fastwrites is nothing but problems, you may get the infinite loop glitch if you enable it. I would recommend not to enable it.

i was able to finally get it working with gforce tweaker.
it is enabled now but however after reading you comments im gonna do alot more testing on this.
with sideband enabled also i believe ive seen in fps in 3dmark
but like how my life goes my puter is wanten to get unstable in 3dmark now. lol
so with a few tweaks and a few cleanups and time ill soon have this thing hummen in the mid 8000 easily soon!
