if a fridge is not powerful enough to cool with the evaporator directly in the liquid, would it do a better job if coils were in the fridge instead? eg. the article on the front page, coils under the evaporator. just asking cause my temps are crazy! 46C with a fridge and 20Ft of coil stuck to a 16" house fan.

Sorry I am not quite clear about what you are asking here. The evaporator in the coolant is far more effective than a cooling coil in the fridge as per article. I have done it and did a write up;

The key here is whether the refrigeration unit is capable of handling the load. If you read the article there is a link to an on-line calculator at the end. It requires that you measure the temp of coolant entering and leaving the w/b and you know the flow rate. Using the on-line calculator you will be able to get an idea of the power of the compressor required to chill the coolant.
