I have a duron 750 which runs at 44 deg idle. my buddy brought over his duron 950 and it ran at 52 deg using my heatsink and fan!!i am getting a duron 1.2ghz tomorrow, should i worry about the heat?

what type of heatsink is it? you will more than likely need a new heatsink if you are seeing those temps, especially if you are even contemplating getting a new heatsink. If you want the cheaper route, the Glaciator Lite is incredible!

I get a lot better than that with my stock coolermaster HSF. Maybe the case temps are too high.
Definitely too high for idle.
You should get some case fans and a better heatsink of any kind in there with the new Duron Morgan.

and don't forget, if you're relying on temps reported from the motherboard, you could actually be +/- 10C from what is reported. :(
