just preparing to add the gtx 260 into the loop with the cpu and nb. temps are idling in the mid 20's prime95'n in the low 50's. im praying the 260 wont overload the loop. 6 loons and 6 gutted , 3 push, 3 pull and shrouds

nice work, but thats not overkill, i might be worried about to much on that 1 rad. mine is overkill :) MCR320 for a q6600 and a MCR320 for a 9800GTX both with 6 high speed yates :D

but back to the thread i'm thinking your temps are going to jump to 60's. i would consider another rad, a 220 me thinks.

Holy high speed fans, batman. That thing must have been really noisy. I love totally ridiculous builds though, with the supports holding the radiators out of the back and top, that just looks awesome.

realy wanting to stick with a single loop, maybe its time to buy that feser quad. think that keep me under 60?

ya i would say stick with one loop just add on a rad and gpu block. your swiftech pump will handle the extra stuff no problem.

there not that noisy actually, but i only run them at 5v so you can't hear them. i will be changing that D4 pump for a D5 the D4 is just way to loud.

Keep your current setup and see what happens. That E6300 can't put out a ton of heat and the GTX260 isn't a massively hot card. You might be fine with it.

You will be fine. But of course it all depends on how much you want to overclock.

I like oc till it dies, I just cant kill that e6300 yet, ive thrown 2v at it and the nb. il see how much a gtx 260 can take (insert evil scientist laugh)

going to dremal out the stock heatsink plate to accept the mcw60, heres a crude plan including 2 holes in the side for hoses

thats not mine, but mine was worse it was squeezed to the slots on the left and the thermal pads on the right, they realy load up the 260's. they use a butter knife and a mayo jar

that is a great idea and exactly what i would have done but my card has a life time warranty so i want to keep it intact.

be sure to post pics once its done.

I think you will be sub 60 with the rad you have now

I am with you on that. So tempting to do because you know it would cool well.
