That is not the true XP 2000+ speed. You need to get that puppy up to 1.67GHz to impress me boy!:p

Yeah, I was about to say. I have clocked my 1600XP to 1.633GHz plenty of times and I still get a 1900+ rating with that. How unfair.

Sweeeeeeeeeet. :D

.......you shouldent need that much vcore to get that speed from a 1600+..... i know all cpus are different my mine hits 1.7 with a heck of a lot less then that

I've OCed my 1600+ to about 1550 or so, and I was wondering why my comp still thinks its a 1600? I want it it say 1700+ or above!!!!!!!!

Some board show the true speed of the proc, or about the true speed instead of the model number when oced using the FSB.
mine just showes 1600+ even tho i am over 2000+

Nice overclock, but you shouldn't need that much voltage. I ran my voltage at stock from the 1700+ (1.46) to 1900+ (1.617) no stress what soever. Depending on the stepping. I would imagine with some cooling that a 166FSB x 12 or x13. That would be a true extreme overclock.
Push it till it bleeds.
But don't kill it.
