I have been running Prime95 for about 18 hours now on my new setup. I have my XP 2000+ running at 1807, and everything seems quite stable. My question is this:
How accurate readings on CPU temps do I get with MBM (mother board monitor) when used with my Abit KR7A-RAID mobo? The reason why I ask is because my temps are stable at 48C... it's the highest temp I've ever had on one of my CPU's. I've tried re setting my HS several times, but I still get these high temps. I'm allso running with 4 cabinet fans. I don't dare go any higher before I get my temps down. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I was afraid of that... Well, I'm using ASII / CAKII38. The 4 cabinet fans are allso globalwin, 80mm. I have ordered 2 more, one 80mm and one 92mm. When they are installed, all my fan slots will be taken. :) I thought this would be enough cooling, but it seems not. (My Vcore is at 1,8)
I got something similar but with Asus prob software, it's CRAP!!! LOL! .. the software reported my cpu temp @ 50c .. I freaked out! restarted the system, went into bios, and guess what? I'm still @ my cooler temp 31c !!! .. bleh.. I tend not to believe monitoring software anymore LOL!

yea very true... but i noticed my ti500 is alot more stable when my cpu temp is under 40c...
a DD5 would be alot better too if you had the extra cash to buy one..
