Excessive EUEs

Would a bad PCI express slot result in failing work units, or would the graphics card just nt work at all?

I keep getting a lot of unstabe machine EUEs , even after underclocking by 20%, swapping the power source between my two cards, swapping the slots that each card is in...

I'm really frustrated with folding right now.. :mad:

tl;dr, I downloaded core14, completed a work unit to 100%, and then mdrun_gpu gets returned after about 4 seconds, and the unit finishes with:

SLI disabled?
Temp of gpu 0 and gpu 1 per Riva? (doubtful temp is an issue since it completed a WU then bombed and the card in the 2nd slot is always the one failing, but hey, maybe the card in that slot has restricted airflow.)
Were both cards in the machine when you installed the video driver?

Since you've already tried declocking, I can only suggest that you do a clean install of the latest driver. You know the drill, uninstall the driver, reboot into safe mode without networking, cancel out of the auto install,run Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper, reboot and install the driver.

What client are you using? If you are using the tray client try switching to the console client. I did and it solved all my EUE problems. I have not had one since switching according to Harlam Folding Monitor.:clap:
