Hi all :)

I found someone to sell him my PC and I'm seeking what i may buy.

Shuttle AK31 Rev 3.1 will be the board for sure (I don't know anything about AK35 so if someone knows please tell me) and I'm in trouble about CPU.

I have to decide between XP 1700+ and the cheaper new Duron 1.3!
Duron work at 100/200 Bus speed, can someone tell me if it can work at 133/266 or more? (overclocking it :D :D )?

I think that if i unlock it and drop down it's multiplier and grow the bus it will work much faster than 1800+.
imagine that 13X133 = 1729 :D:D

Thank you fo your answers

I doubt you'll get XP 1800+ performance levels on a Duron. Just isn't going to happen.

You shouldn't have problems running it at 10x133 instead of 13x100. The Morgan core Durons unlock the same way the Spitfires and the Thunderbirds did.

Unless you're strapped for cash, I'd say go ahead and get the XP 1700+. Better performance and more overclocking potential.
