So I have a delema
I don't know what to do so I'm lookng for advice
It is better to get 1600 speed with cas 6
Or get faster speed with cas 8 or 9?
This is not for core i7
It's for 775

lol save some bucks and go for the 1600 one.

if you manage to get the fsb up to 1600 it's good news.

generally going for faster ram is better anyway because there is more memory bandwidth. supposing you have a dual core the 1600 one is good enough to keep the chip flooded with bandwidth :)

You know, lower CAS is better... So I see no point getting slower RAM with higher timings..

he said higher speed ram with higher timings

if a system actually uses that bandwidth it is better than the lower cas memory

but since i think even i7 cpus don't take advantage of super high bandwidth

in his case a lower cas and freq memory is to be preferred =)

The ram I was lookin at was the same just not i7 ram
Thanks for the info this helped me
