Some of you guys might remember my screw up with trying to watercool a Diamond 4870 1g card back in december, see this post (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=588320) at that time I emailed Diamond about there warranty & watercooling.
Well.... I just got a reply today (4 months later)

If you remove the heat sync from the card it would void the warranty. But if you need a RMA at any time of the year warranty just make sure to keep the heat sync and reattach it to the card if you have to do a rma that way you can still get a rma.
Thank you and have a good day.

Now thats some messed up S**t, if I would have heard from them sooner I could have saved $275.00 dollars, instead of buying a new HIS card. But I do like the HIS better than the Diamond, It clocks much better.
