-Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250310AS 250GB
-CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066
-ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

i was planning to use CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W as my PSU, will this PSU be up to the job? or should i get the 750w version of that PSU?

the 650 will have plenty of power but for the $10 (or $20 counting rebates) difference in price on newegg i'd go for the 750 personally (assuming your in the US)

10 $ more for the 750, can't go wrong with it. If you ever happen to upgrade a lot, it will pay off. As well as not running that near to its maximum capacity, thus increasing lifespan.

650 will be fine and will give you plenty of solid power for a cheap price. If you are looking at modular which I recommend, the HX 520 and 620 would also easily handle and single GPU system including the 4870x2 and GTX 295 card.
