Hi, Could someone recomend the best cooler i could get for my Athlon 1.4, i am not planning on overclocking anytime soon so a cooler which is only recomemded upto 1.4 ghz will be fine. However the most important thing is how noisy it is, which is the quietist cooler i could get?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Jak, welcome to the Forum,
The Millennium Glaciator II (http://www.millennium-thermal.com/start.htm) is quiet, cool and cheaper compared to many others, so this is the way that I suggest you, but if you want really a killer HeatSink, well you can consider an Alpha Pal8045 or a Swiftec MC462A, but you have to check the compatibility with your Mobo, coz sometimes there isn't enough room around the Socket to fit properly, and don't forget that the best results are get with a good case ventilation!

I hope it helps you ;)

Get the GLAC 2 like stated above, its a great heatsink, and when you do decide to overclock it will be more than ready to do the job.

I got mine a few weeks ago, I wish I had bought it sooner!
