Power Options

I turned a old dell (xp) into my media server on my home network and was curious what my Power Options should be.
(Power Schemes)- Always ON
(Turn off hard disk) - Never
(System Stanby) - Never
(Hibernate) - Not enabled

Do all these settings sound correct for a computer that will hardly get attention? Thanks in Adnvance

Sounds good for a machine that will always be on.
Might want to setup automatic updates also so you don't have to worry as much about it. Set it to automatically update.

you could probably even have the HDs turn off if you won't be constantly using it. It would only take 1-2 seconds to start them up anyway

If you have wake on lan enabled, you might even be able to have the media server go into standby mode, only waking up when your accessing the drive, then going back to sleep after a period of inactivity.
