an easy question from a newbie like me...

I just purchased the Asus A7V266-E and plan on purchasing an AMD Athlon XP1900+. I noticed the default jumper settings are set to the Palomino. I know the AMD cpu is advertised as AMD Athlon XP1900+, but some places also advertise as AMD Palomino XP1900+.

Now my question is this...I wanted to confirm that a XP1900+ is a T-bird or Palomino core based CPU? And on my CPU settings on the motherboard, should I leave it as the Palominio (default) or change the jumpers to read a T-bird cpu? Thanks for the replies ahread of time !

it's a Palomino. All AMD CPUs that are currently out now and that have model numbers (XP????+) are Palomino, every AMD CPU with MHz (1.4GHz) is a T-Bird.
