hello

I got a network going, (shared cable).
First thing that i dont know how to get onto the other computer i am networked to and go through the files on that computer.

Also Starcraft when i make a lan game the other computer can not see it, but in another game like halflife it does show up..

help would be appreciated :p

Need more info.

Operating systems and what network hardware you have. Hubs, switches, routers, NIC's. All the like.

The reasons your games aren't working are because Starcraft/Broodwar use IPX over LAN. Make sure that all of your boxes that'll play SC/BW have IPX installed and configured properly. Other games work because they use TCP/IP.

To share files, you have to make sure you have the "enable file sharing" thingy on.
