View Full Version : Trying to change voltage, but not being cooperative

It seems that when I attempt to raise my voltage, and then check the cpu core voltage in my bios, there isn't any change. I checked the core voltage with Sisoft sandra, but since that program takes its information from the bios anyway, not surprised that it gives me the same info.

I'm running on a shuttle ak3.1 , and the voltage it shows is consistently around 1.74~1.75.

There are some mobo's that have a jumper on them to auto detect the Vcore on the proc, I am not familiar with yuor board, but I had the same prob on my old AZ11E. After I moved the jumper all was well.

okay, here is the deal, with the shuttle when u increase the Vcore more that + .1 volts it resets to default. you need to do a volt mod to get higher than that, more in for it the amd motherboards/shuttle motherboards forum
