Hello, i am planning the purchase of the 2709W & 2209WA, the 2709W will use for the console gaming and movies and since it has a DVI port i will use it to play any content that i have on the PC.

The 2209WA will be just to replace my current 17" monitor.

I would like to hear some input about the 2709W.

I am interested in buying one of these as well! I cant find anywhere to get it though. Is dell the only place that sells it?

I cant wait "3-5 weeks" for dell to ship it

i went to the dell outlet under new monitors and it said that the ETS was 0511 for both monitors...

your other option is ebay.

Wow. They cant even keep their own products in stock? I went to the dell outlet but I couldnt find a way to get as specific ship date. I dont know how you did that lol. They have it for $220 today, should I buy?

Anyone have any experience with the LG W2242P-BS??

I ordered a 2209wa direct from dell on the 27th of april, it will be delivered today ......... 3- 5 weeks is not accurate at all. Ordering direct also assures you your warranty wont be messed up, buying from ebay is fine, but you must have the original purchasers (the person your buying from on ebay) order number or the warranty is not valid if YOU need a warranty repair.

Here is a secret from Dell. They ALWAYS claim it will take longer then it actually is. For example I ordered my 2209WA on Saturday, the estimated shipdate was May 20th. It was shipped Sunday and should be in my paws on Tuesday (tomorrow) I mean heck even the free shipping (ie 3-5 days ) always turns out, in my case, 1 to 2 days from date of order. Its one of the reasons why I love ordering from Dell.

Cool, cause I just pulled the trigger on one for $219 with free shipping. Came to 233 after tax.
