recently i purchased an AMD Phenom X4 9950 BE and Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H CPU MB combo and i am not sure on how well my power supply (Antec NEO 480W PS) can handle my future needs

I plan on getting 2 500gb HDs and Crossfire 2 HD 4670 Video cards

and i'm wondering what watt rating/exact power supply you would recommend

Why Xfire 2 4670 cards when a single card would be powerful enough?

if you can get it onsale, the Corsair 750 would be a nice supply and give you head room...

Would the Corsair 750 be sufficient to power 2x GTX 285 cards? along with 2 hard drives and 2 dvd drives?

Just because I can :P

Would $119.99 be a good enough deal?

should do just fine i think 2 cards in SLI they say a 700W psu including other items, now if you want to be super sure, get the Corsair 1000 if you can afford it, it has come on sale too sometimes to sub $200 price range...

now i got to ask, what LCD do you plan to get that you think you need SLI

unless u r getting free video cards it will be better to get one faster video card than 2 mid level video cards. same goes for 2 285's...unless u r buying both now you'll be better off getting a new card later. the prices won't drop fast enough or far enough to make sli pay off

in other words I wouldn't drop a fortune on a psu to power 2 285s because you'll probably never hace them both

It's a toss up right now between the 850 watt corsair for 140 or the 1000 watt corsair for 200.
