Question: temps on Precision, two cards

Just installed a secondf GTX 280. Temp report is 50 on first, 39 on second. Is the 50 card the first slot? The second is my original card, it idles at 39C. So must be the first slot card. And I tried the card with the original cooling, it was right in fannage cooling range.

Ohh better mention I'm on water, both GTX on a DDC3.2 XSPC top and a XPSP 120x3 rad.

Looks like a remount is in order on the card.

the first card generellay produces more heat for different reasons.

The monitor is connected to it, this means the card really never goes idle because it needs some power to "render" the desktop.

then the first card is placed above the second card and as we all know, heat tends to go upwards. generally under load temp difference should be higher than 5C anyway
