Here's a 40X CD Burner for you LOL, man thats slow.......\../, what happened, the cd is finished already????? hmm, under 2 minutes for burning, just over 3 minutes to totally finish the disc on a P2 300MHz.

I might wait for 48x writers they will burn 10 seconds faster than 40x :cool:
only joking i'm buying that cd-writer and it's the last one i'll buy for sure

At this rate, the slowest bit will be putting the CDs in the drive. You'll need auto-loaders that spit out the finished ones frizbee style :)

This year cd-writing speeds will reach 58x, after that the companies will probably concentrate on dvd-writers

the 300mhz was only a minimum

it says at the bottom of the page:

(Results may vary depending on system configuration)

so, you won't see a great deal of performance unless you got a newer Pentium or Athlon
