what would be a good cooler that fits the 4890?
If you search for the 4870 coolers, they fit the reference 4890s. Arctic Cooling has a few good ones, like the this one here (http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_&mID=101). So does ThermalRight, like the HR-03.

superbiiz link below. That's lowest price that I have ever seen. I got two of them when they first hit the market from Directron and paid 39 each. I really like them they do perform well and the fans are not loud. I used the stock cooler back plate over VRM and memory instead of the ram sinks included. It's easy to do, just unscrew plate from the stock cooler.

Don't get the twin turbo. Get the Accelero S1 as it is cheaper and the heatsink is larger. You can always attach fans to it.

AC didn't state that the S1 is compatiable with 4890, although they 4870 and 4890 maybe look identical physically, it's best to assume that it's not compatiable for now, since AC did not say so on their web page. just use at your own risk, so i would suggest the turbo

Do they get in the way of the bridge for CF? I wanna get aftermarket cooling as well but dont wanna waste the money if the coolers are too big for CF. My 4890s sit right on top of each other and there is no room at all.

Cross-fire bridges fit perfectly. The cards are very close, just a 1/4 inch apart clearance. You'll need a case with good cooling preferably a full tower. My 4870s get hot especially when over clocked. I ended up just using a tech bench so I have no heat issues now. :p
