Now i have a Acorp 6ZX86 mobo. CPU's i had on this MB: Celeron 333@375Mhz; Celeron 566@875Mhz and now a Celeron 850@1133Mhz

Sandra 2002 results:

CPU - 3049/1534
CPU MM - 6180/7561
mem - 1029/583

In 1-2 weeks i'll get the new MB and CPU
I will get a ABIT ST6 mobo! Do i need any BIOS updates??
Can i rise the voltage with this mb?(Im not going to do the CPU mod yet!)

Is there any other good cheap MB?

How much it will ock without the MOD?

Thanks!

Thats the same mobo and chip I have now. I am currently @ 1650/137fsb Aircooled Temporarily. Temps are 30C Idle/35C Full Load. I would immediately flash the bios. Max Voltage without VID MOD will be 1.6. Without the mod, it all depends on your components, IE: Ram, HD, ect. My current memory timings are 3-3-1/5-7. I was told that I should go 4-4-1, but my computer is rock-stable where she is. *if it ain't broke, why fix it * at 4-4-1. my scores in Sandra aren't as respectable as with the 3-3-1. Again..it all depends on your components. I guess my components aren't complaining.

You should always get the lastest bios flash no matter what.

You can raise the voltage up to 1.625 tops.

I was thinking to show you the latest BIOS, with the link to ABIT BIOS home page. But, the site is temporary off. I think the latest BIOS is 6A (I really forget what it is at this time 5.35am @_@)

Nova,
Could you post some 3dmark (and perhaps some Q3/HQ) benches? It's known that the high memory bandwidth platforms (P4, AthlonXP DDR) demolish the tualatin at low res. The biggest example would be the often used Q3/fastest benchmark.
Still, who in the world plays at 6x4 anymore? Since you have an up to date vid card, I am curious to see how that Celeratin would do at reasonable resolutions: 10x7 and up.

Memory bandwidth is important; how does it effect gaming at resolutions where the vid card is doing almost all the work?

Edit:
Sorry, I missed the 3dmark score in your sig...7305....not bad, but about 25% lower than a ddr (northwood or AthXP) system.
