Using Triple Channel Kits in Dual Channel

I'm looking to buy either ASUS Rampage Extreme or Foxconn BlackOPS X48 motherboard. Could I use this 6gb triple channel kit of Crucial DDR3 1600 and pair it with this for a total of 8gb's running in dual channel?

I was just using them as an example, since they Crucial also sells the 2gb standalone kit.

RAM is RAM. The dual-channel and triple-channel kits are nothing special, you can mix and match as you please (although your OC might become limited).
