I have, and am bored of (Played through):

Halo 3
Gears of War 1 & 2
PGR 4
Dead Rising
Oblivion
Blazing Angels 1 & 2
Left 4 Dead

I'm looking for a shooter like game, preferably with a good XBLive community. I tried Orange Box but returned it because there were never players online.

I was thinking Mass Effect because it supposedly has a killer story, any comment on the truth of that?

It does have an awesome story, but is not similar to your listed games.
I would recommend it to any RPG player for sure.

Alright cool, I got really into Halo 3 and the Gears of War games once I detoxed from BF2 and 2142... getting used to console controls is a pain but the games are much more immersive, which is one of the things I'm looking for.

I'll pick that up then.

Good idea, especially since 2 is coming.

Mercenaries 2 was a ton of fun, worth the money imo. And you can get it for 15-25 most places now days.

You missed it: Week before last they had 360 and PS3 games on sale for $10 at Best Buy.

You could've gotten TWO 360 games.

Some of them weren't bad...

You could've gotten Pure for example.

That has multi.

Rainless can attest to this for sure: Go to Game Crazy. They have fantastic prices compared to the rip-off counterpart Game Stop. Usually GS has used games for $5 less than the New copies. Well, GC has them for $10 off if not even more.
That and a membership ($10/yr) gets you $1 off(at the least, I've seen $10 off just for being a member) of just about everything.

Went last night for Street Fighter IV and got 5 games just because the prices were good.

Rock on, I'll take the drive sometime this week to the Game Crazy and check them out. I've never really liked Game Stop after I quit working there a year ago and never thought about Game Crazy since the nearest store's a 20-30 minutes drive for me... but there's a Roy Rogers next to it IIRC and there's not too many of those left, and they make the best roast beef sandwiches.

Just renewed my Warhammer sub tonight so at least I've got that to keep me busy.

Have you tried Army of Two? I've seen it from $10-$20. It's not a bad game. Co-op is fun.

Heh, I just saw this thread and was also going to recommend Army of Two. I just finished playing through the campaign last night with my brother, and was thoroughly impressed with it. I totally hope they make a sequel. I'm sure most people will scream blasphemy, but he said he likes it better than either GoW. I've never played either of them, but I generally end up having a similar opinion on games as he does. All that said, I have no idea how many people are playing it on XBLive, cuz I'm too cheap to pony up for a gold membership ;)
