video problems

i have a new k7ama M/B not a O/C M/B got it becouse it post to be real stable but i put in a savage 2000 64mbs video card and i get white lines though my icons some times and like when Downloading the paper going to the little folder leaves trailes. I have took it from 4x to 2x and have changed the preformace level out put on it and stell the same thing. is this video card bad? thanks all

Could very well be a bad video card, at least that's what it looks like... have you contacted the company or support number for that card? It could be a know issue with a simple bios setting fix. Try doing a search on www.google.com and see if others are complaining...

Yes I think Pinky is right that its a bad video card.

You didn't fiddle with the video card by any chance then?

nope i have not fiddle with it. I ran this card on my older M/M at 1x and 2x it did ok but the windows splase screen was always looked like the colors were all mixed up

Where did you buy it?

If its at a local vendor bring it back and tell them you have a problem with it - guessing it is under waranty.

Make sure you have the lastest drivers too.
